In this SpectrumCast we turn the mic over to Tricia Jiang who, correctly, lets us all know that there may be some data that doesn't need to be backed up. As with everything in IT, it becomes a balancing act between needs and costs.  Not backing up things can save a company money and that is good as more money is needed these days in the data protection space for new protection methodologies for cyber.  The trick in knowing what you don't need to back up? Good data classification.
