Each year there tends to be one technology that stands out in the storage space. In 2009 it was data deduplication. Anything that upsets IT process is a big deal. It is important, as IT investigates new technologies for the data center, that to truly add value and provide a true ROI, the new technology must not impact all of the existing processes that are currently in place.
