The History of Data Storage

Check out different mediums of storage throughout the years and the capacities they held. Maybe not as far back as punch cards, but since tape (especially for backups) trying to stuff more data in a smaller foot print has been around for a long time. Hope you enjoy.

Compressed Thoughts - Transparency & Compression

Anything that upsets IT process is a big deal. It is important, as IT investigates new technologies for the data center, that to truly add value and provide a true ROI, the new technology must not impact all of the existing processes that are currently in place.
